The inaugural Medici Award has been rescheduled to 2009.
The award will honor Margaret Word Burnside and Aaron Fodiman, John and Mary K. Wilson, and Judith Lisi in recognition of their past and ongoing contributions to the cultural arts of Tampa Bay.
 
Aaron Fodiman and Margaret Word Burnside, founders and publishers of Tampa Bay Magazine. They demonstrate their commitment to the arts all in the name of a worthy cause and betterment of the bay area cultural scene.

Judith Lisi has over 30 years experience as an artist, producer, andpresenter. Judy is CEO/President of the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, the 4th largest performing arts center in the nation.

John Wilson & Mary K. Wilson, Emmy Award winning news anchor for Fox 13 and a McClosky voice technician, respectively; both are veteran performers and supporters of multiple charitable events and cultural arts organizations.
